Join us for a day dedicated to nourishing the mind and body. We will learn the technique of Rounding, enjoy a delicious lunch, and listen to a recording on Vedic Knowledge from Thom Knoles.
What is Rounding?
Rounding is an advanced technique that incorporates simple stretches, breath work and meditation to give you an amplified experience of purification and rejuvenation. Most students report feeling greater depth during Rounding and feel the effects long afterwards. It is a great way to bolster your meditation practice. During the Daycation students will have the opportunity to complete up to 3 rounds.
How do I learn?
We offer two ways to learn how to Round.
1) Rounding Retreat. We are planning our next retreat. Stay tuned.
2) Rounding Daycation. This full day event will allow you to learn how to Round and to do a couple of Rounds to practice so that you’re comfortable practicing on your own.
All Vedic Meditators are welcome. No prior experience in Rounding is necessary.
What if I have physical limitations?
The oldest student we have taught to Round was 83 years old. We even taught a person who recently had knee surgery. We can make modifications for your body type so that it feels comfortable. Nothing that we do is strenuous. Instead it should feel like a big hug for the body.
You will be led by Vi Rucks and Jeff Yack.
Who is Thom Knoles?
Thom is a pre-eminent master of Vedic Meditation and a celebrated speaker on Vedic Knowledge. He is delightful to listen to as he takes complex concepts and distills them in a way that is manageable and easily applicable to one’s own life. You will love listening to him.
